The company was established in 2016 when founder Lim Chaewon — previously a commercial property analyst at a regional bank — saw landlords receiving generic market bulletins that did not reflect their own rent rolls. Hazelway began as a two-desk practice preparing quarterly binders for three family-owned mixed-use blocks in Seo-gu.
By 2019 we had expanded to serve asset managers across Jeolla and into northern Chungcheong, still focused on printed folios and in-person briefings rather than remote dashboards. Today a team of six analysts and two research associates handles engagements ranging from eight-unit residential portfolios to twelve-asset commercial holdings.
